Join Girls Rock Birmingham and special guest instructor Mimi Kennamer for an afternoon of learning how to play the versatile and fun ukulele! Mimi Kennamer is a Birmingham native who has been engulfed in music since day one. Not only was she raised by a family of musicians, she also attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts! Her passions are working with the youth in Birmingham, spending time with her family & bringing light to the world with music. You may bring your own ukulele or borrow one from HWL (limited number of instruments available.) No prior music knowledge is necessary--just a desire to learn something new!

Workshop is open to trans, nonbinary, and cis females ages 9 and up and adults!
