WORKSHOP SERIES FOR WOMEN

Join Girls Rock Birmingham for a series of workshops for women (18+) to learn the basics of bass, keys, and/or guitar--come to one or all 3! 

 

Sunday, February 1:

BASS WORKSHOP from 1:00-2:10 PM 

KEYS WORKSHOP from 2:15-3:30 PM

 

Sunday, February 15:

GUITAR WORKSHOP from 1:00-2:30 PM

 

All workshops are held at the Magic City Acceptance Center (3130 3rd Ave S). 

 

No experience necessary!  In less than 2 hours, you’ll learn how to play popular chords and chord progressions over easy backing tracks.  You’ll also learn easy tricks for simple soloing over backing tracks.  Ever try to play a foot tambourine while strumming a guitar?  Come join us for an afternoon of learning and fun!  Space is limited.

Workshop is open to women and gender expansive folks ages 18 and up. No equipment is necessary, although you may bring your own if you wish! 

Workshop fees are as follows:

1 workshop of your choice $25

2 workshops of your choice $40

All 3 workshops $60

 

Once registered you will receive an invoice from Girls Rock Bham. Please pay promptly to reserve your spot as space is limited!
